This short film tells the story of Farhan Momin, a former Masterchef contestant and now dentist, as reflects he on expectations and appreciation for his upbringing; and his father, Ahmed Momin, a South Asian immigrant who turned to butchery to build a stable life for his family in Atlanta. “Nice to Meat You” was filmed and directed by Ethan Payne and produced by Farhan Mustafa for the 2022 Southern Foodways Symposium.
